Find out more about how Anawim is responding to Covid-19 here

Anawim provides a wide range of services for women in and around Birmingham, from support with mental health, finances and housing to specialist advocacy and legal aid, counselling and courses.

Although there are lots of benefits to accessing support, we know it can be difficult taking the first step. On top of this, the pandemic has limited opportunities to reach out.

Free helpline

For this reason, we’ve recently launched a free helpline so women can access support remotely. This is open on 0800 019 8818 for anyone who identifies as a woman to speak with a specialist female caseworker, whether it’s to talk about mental health, finances, housing, families and relationships or anything else.

Women should rest assured that all conversations are confidential and while caseworkers will always remain professional, the helpline is open for women to chat about anything that is causing worry, no matter how big or small the problem may be.

Live chat

Don’t feel comfortable picking up the phone just yet? That’s okay. Women can also access our live chat by clicking on the orange button in the corner of the screen. This will be monitored Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm. If the live chat is closed, you can leave a message and someone will get back to you.

Sometimes it can be hard for us to tell when our friends, families or colleagues may be struggling. Please share these resources amongst your contacts in any way you see fit.
