Between April 2023 and March of this year we supported nearly 1750 women. That’s a rise of just under 20% on the year before. Drop-in remains our busiest service. Last year there was an average of 4-5 visits a day. We also continue to work with a lot of women who’ve experienced domestic violence. There, and through other services.
More than 160 women were supported with counselling – often provided by students and volunteers, and we continue to do a lot of work in criminal justice – diverting women from prison and working with those there.
